The artwork was inspired by the logo of the iPhone. The concept that the logo is the same apple as in the Bible. Just as we accepted the apple in the Garden of Eden with the sake of divine knowledge and fell into earthly existence as a result, we now move into the virtual world by following the same symbol. The first sketch started just as a graphic design for an iPhone Case with Botticelli's Venus (1485-86), as Eve, and Michelangelo's David (1501-04), as Adam. Both artwork were made in Florence, perhaps the 2  well -known masterpieces of the Renaissance, but their topics come from 2 foreign roots of European cultural history. Venus is the, Greek-Roman while David is Judeo-Christian. The relationship between the Western man to the supernatural to science and the individual is born from the marriage of these 2 origins, after the Dark Middle Ages, with the Renaissance, which began to re -discover the technical achievements of  the antique world and placed the individual in next to of the collective.

In my work  the human and animal figures, except for the dove, are all astrological symbols. Eve is the virgin and Adam is the serpent bearer (the 13th zodiac sign still used in the Renaissance, also known as Hermes). Libra is the dragon in the Chinese zodiac, which is located in the middle of the picture, the rest of the zodiac signs are in the West, moving from left to right in the picture: Aries, Leo, Taurus, Sagittarius, Gemini, Scorpio, Cancer, Aquarius, Capricorn, Pisces. The plants in the background are placed in a permacultural system that is capable of creating a paradise state in most agricultural areas in a sustainable mode. (An edible forest or food forest that has no pests or weeds because everything is part of the system that regulates itself in the proportions. Human and environmentally -friendly breeding method because it does not require digging, weeding, irrigation, or chemical spraying.) Recognizable in the picture of apples, figs, grapes, mango, watermelon, peach, cherry, orange, palms, cypresses, raspberries, currants, straw , psilocybe mushrooms, nettle, cannabis, coca shrub.I drew them after studying (or planting) living plants, all of them based on botanically correct, actually functioning permacultural gardens. Therefore, only the student drawing took more than 6 months. I made the study drawing with a pencil, which I placed on a bottom-screen glass and then finished with pen (as with the drawings of old animation movies) in a 100x 50 cm size. (This process is presented in the 2nd picture below in the gallery) Based on this drawing, to do the oil painting  was more than 1 year, because it made with the same technique as my previous Botticelli reproduction. (Botticelli probably painted the blood vessel system on the gold and ocher background and covered it with a lot of thin layers like the real skin. This process is presented in the 3rd picture below in the gallery). In the end I digitized the drawing with a high -resolution scanner, and then paste the detail photos of the painting with 128 layers in Photoshop. The result has become a high-definition digital file (first photo in the gallery below).

The sexual piety prevailed among the Babylonians for many centuries, so that in the year 440 BC Herodot, while he was there, saw Venus worship himself, and even, as he describes, paid homage to the occasional goddess.Three hundred and fifty years later, Strabo, the great Greek traveler, remained a note, who also writes that the women of Babylon allow their bodies to be a prediction. This religious prostitution, though called the Venus cult, spread all the way in Asia, Africa, to the inside of Egypt. The Phoenizians were a merchant-people, their ships were far away, they carried the moral of religious prostitution to the island of Cyprus, and spread to other Central Sea islands to Greece and Italy. In Karthage and its provinces, religious prostitution suffered only formal change.

Succoth Benoth or "daughters' shelters" named the temple raised in honor of Venus, and in these shelters, the girls were collected for their married life. Staying in the shelter, the purest prostitution of religious worship, not only did not harm their integrity, but on the contrary, girls who have earned such a dowry have always married highly.

The Mosaic is 330 different drawings that are made based on thumbnails for videos of the most watched adult sites. The parallels of ancient religious prostitution and internet pornography are particularly interesting in the light of the fact that according to the tradition, the gods are immortal and their power depends on the number and depths of their prayers and their sacrifices. One of the hypothesis of this image is that if something is capable of gathering the sexual energy that flows into the virtual world with porn, it is likely that the same goddess who has already done it in the ancient times.

I drew the first 330 pictures with a black marker pen, in small size (6x6 cm) between 2014 and 2016. The mosaic on the top photo was made from these drawings. Between 2016-2024, I made 220 drawings, using thinner pens with multiple details, shading and larger sizes (8x8 cm-20x20cm). In these drawings, I used thumbnails that do not have genitalia, or even female nipples. From previous drawings, 110 also matched these criteria, so I added 330 drawings again to make the second Mosaic.

Bull Leaping, plastered canvas, oil, 2009.

/this painting is in the collection of Deuche Telekom/

Jumping the bull was a popular pastime in Crete, where young girls prepared all their lives for these extraordinary events.  They easily leapover the running bull while performing all kinds of acrobatics. The bull has always been a symbol of beastly instincts, so the bullfights of today represent man's victory over the animal. However during the sacred celebrations in Crete bulls survived, that's why I think these were the most elegant and humane forms of man overcoming beasts in history
